I was so happy to have my Mom, Grandmom, and Auntie Kim here for Mother's Day! We had such a wonderful weekend! Unfortunately though, Auntie Kim was sick the first 2 days. So that was a real bummer! So while she was resting I took my Mom and Grandmom to a beautiful nursery with amazing flowers which got us in the mood for some planting. They love to garden so they were excited to help me plant and add to our front and backyard. The weather was beautiful too so it made for a really nice day outside! For our house warming gift they bought us lilacs, peonies, a hydrangea, dahlia bulbs, and an aspen tree. We can't wait to watch them grow and add lots of charm to our garden! (I hope to have a green thumb!)

By Sunday Auntie Kim was feeling better so we brought Molls and Coop to Chatfield Reservoir. It was a beautiful day so it made for a very nice walk and a chance to soak in a little vitamin D. Since it was the weekend there were a ton of dogs there. It was so fun to see them all interacting and having a ball in the water! Molly and Cooper were in heaven! Cooper was finally getting more comfortable with the water and by the end he was swimming with Molly to fetch sticks and balls. It was so cute!
After the Reservoir we came back to our house and made a really nice filet mignon and mahi mahi dinner with artichokes, brussel sprout hash, and salad. It was so delicious! So, all in all, it was a fabulous day and I was so happy to be with my Mom, Grandmom, & Aunt! {Love you 3 so much!}
Mom and Auntie Kim also helped me finish painting the basement. It was quit a job and Grandmom did a great job supervising! It turned out so good and Morgan just loves it! So now his basement office is finally coming together!

Monday we spent the day in Boulder. We had a yummy lunch a West End Tavern and then we made our way through all the cute little shops on Pearl Street. It was such a nice day! We always have the best time together! On our way home we stopped at Sheplers Western store. Auntie Kim was wanting to purchase a souvenir while she was visiting in Colorado. So, she bought a pair of adorable cowboy boots! This is 2 for 2 now with bringing guests there and finding boots. They have the best selection! Auntie Kim and Nicole are both so lucky to have adorable new boots! I can't wait to buy my next pair there!
Tuesday I brought them to the adorable little town of Morrison and then to see the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater. We went through a couple little antique stores in Morrison. One of the little shops was quit interesting because the little old lady that owned it also lived in the store. It was interesting to see her little living spaces throughout the store. It kinda reminded me of the show Hoarding: Buried Alive. We then made our way up to the amphitheater. It is a truly incredible venue! (Can't wait to see Kenny Chesney there in July!)
It was such a wonderful 5 days with them here! I really cherish the time we get to spend together! No matter what we do, we always have fun and enjoy being together!
{Love you girls lots & lots! Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!}
