Our 1st Anniversary

Yesterday we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. Gosh, that year flew by! It is so true that time flies when you're having fun! When I think back on the year I must say it was quit an amazing year! Our wedding, Honeymoon, My big move to Colorado, Mammoth trip, Buying our first home, Packers won the Super Bowl, Welcomed a new puppy into the family (who I must say is now 8 months old & 70 lbs!), Morgan turned 30, A week-long Havasu trip, Block Parties, Lots of visitors... It has been such a fun year! I so look forward to what our future holds! Life just seems to be one big adventure & I just love it; especially because I am traveling this road with the Love of My Life & Best Friend!

{Morgan, I love you SOOO very much!!!! Cheers to a lifetime of LOVE!!! XOXO}

Labor Day Block Party

Labor Day weekend we had another little drive way get together with all our neighbors. It was so fun! And thank goodness the weather turned out beautiful! (Not too hot like the 4th of July party!) Everyone brought a dish to share and then their own meat to grill. It turned out great with lots of yummy food! Like I have said before, we are SO lucky to have such wonderful neighbors! We hope to make it a point to still get together during the winter months!

Breckenridge

A couple weeks ago we decided to take a drive to Breckenridge. It was so nice because it was a day when it was 90 at our house and then when we got up there in the mountains it was a beautiful 70 degree day! We brought the dogs with us and we just walked around the cute little town and we had a yummy crepe at the famous little yellow crepe cart. It was delicious!

Our Fall Taste Test

I just love this time of year! It starts to get so festive with all the wonderful scents, the changing of the leaves, the crispness in the air, pumpkin this & pumpkin that, and... all the different pumpkin beers! Morgan and I had a little taste test with all the different pumpkin beers we could find. They are all so yummy in their own unique way! But of course we each had our favorite!

Happy Fall!

Morgan's BIG 3-0

So... I know I'm a little behind! I just need to pry myself off of Pinterest.
Gosh, I am so addicted!

Anyways, It's time to catch up! August 17th was my Hubby's BIG 3-0! We did a whole lot of celebrating for an entire month! It was so fun! We started the celebrating while we were in Havasu. I knew we wouldn't be seeing our families again before his birthday so I thought it would be the perfect time to celebrate! Before we got there my Mom and Auntie Kim did some decorating. They went and picked up some balloons that I had ordered and they picked up a "Happy Birthday" banner! They even made a 20 mile drive to pick up a Dairy Queen ice cream cake! I so appreciated all that they did & I know Morgan did too! So it was such a fun, full week of celebrating! I decided to give Morgan his gift from me while we were there too because I wanted everyone to be there when I gave it to him (Cause it was quit a BIG gift!) So Saturday we did a big birthday dinner with lots of Morgan's favorite food! It was quit a feast! We had ribs, corn soufflĂ©, pasta salad, potato salad... Needless to say, no one left the table hungry! That night we all gave Morgan his gifts. He got so many nice things! He is sure spoiled! I gave him my gift last and as he was opening it I said "It's not what you think it is!" (just to try to throw him off cause it was in a huge box!) I think he was very surprised cause I kept telling him he wasn't getting his Gretsch guitar cause it was way too expensive!!! I just loved seeing the look on his face! He was totally surprised! I am so happy I was able to get him the one and only thing he REALLY wanted for this 30th!

About 2 weeks before his birthday Pat got in touch with me and was wanting to come and surprise Morgan for his birthday. I thought that was such a great idea! So with lots of texting back and forth we got it all arranged! He flew in on his actual birthday! So the day of his birthday for lunch we went to Our favorite sandwich place, Fire House Subs. Then we just came home cause he had a little work to do and he also wanted to take a nap (which he never does & it was probably a good thing he did cause from then on out it was a non-stop, lots of partying kind of weekend!) And I said I had a couple errands to run and would be back soon! So I made my way to the airport to pick up Pat! And of course his flight was a little delayed, but once I got him we were both so excited about the surprise! Morgan had NO clue!!! So when we got to our house we went in through the front door. No Morgan. Then down to the basement. No Morgan. Back up the stairs and out walks Morgan from the bathroom! He was completely shocked!!!! It was such a fun surprise!!! So that night we had reservations at PF Chang's (Morgan's Favorite!) Our neighbor Chad came over that night and of course Pat and Chad totally hit it off! The 3 of them had quit a fun night!

 Late Friday afternoon the Scuderi's came! It was so nice to have them here with us too to celebrate! The 4 of us went to the Sugarland concert. Oh and it was so fun! Such a great concert, as always!

Saturday the guys all golfed at a super nice course in Castle Rock and it was all comped by the Avalanche. It was Morgans gift from Kroenke Sports! They had a blast! Then that night I had arranged for all of us to go downtown to the Rio for dinner and then Sing Sing for some fun! I rented a shuttle service so that no one had to worry about driving. It worked out perfect and we all had a wonderful time! I think Morgan had a fabulous Birthday!!!

Happy 30th Birthday to my wonderful husband!
 I hope you had an amazing time celebrating your BIG 3-0!
I love you SO much!!! XOXO
